Our new topic for his half term is Growth. Our caterpillars have arrived in the post and the children will watch as they grow in size, build their cocoons, and emerge as butterflies. A perfect start to our topic was the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Some of these activities included making flower butterflies. We have spoken about healthy and unhealthy by feeding our caterpillar in the tuff tray and counted numicon butterflies.
