Summer 1 2026

During this half term children explored the topic Superhero! We made our own Supertato’s in nursery with Mr Potato Heads and then with actual potatoes, with our families at stay and play. We talked about real superheroes such as doctors and fire fighters. Later in the term someone stole Fiona’s lunch! The children followed the clues to find the culprit- The police were invited in to help us solve the case! They spoke to the children about their important role in helping people and keeping us safe. The children loved learning all about what police officers do and were very excited to try on some uniform and hear the siren in the police car! We took delivery of some Living Eggs this half term and the children watched in awe as they hatched and grew strong bigger and stronger! We continued to explore our living world and re-visited chapes and patterns, looking for them outside in the natural environment!
