Are you committed to ensuring the very best experience for children? We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and would enjoy providing the children in our nursery with healthy and exciting balanced meals.
Due to the in-house promotion of our existing cook we are looking for someone to prepare and serve meals to our nursery children Monday to Friday term time only. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and maintaining daily temperature and food checks in line with food regulations.

We are looking for someone who:-
• Has a sense of fun and enjoys being around children
• Has a commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of our children
• Can plan creative healthy menus that enhance children’s eating experiences, with support from the Nursery Manager.
• Is enthusiastic about learning opportunities for children, especially around food, and may sometimes contribute to learning opportunities within the setting
• Can demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of hygiene standards when preparing and serving food
• Is committed to ensuring every child is happy and engaged when in our care
• Has excellent communication skills with children and adults
• Is a team player

This is a very exciting opportunity to join a new Out of School Club. You will be expected to care for our children and maintain a high quality, stimulating learning environment. Could you work as part of a team to plan and prepare learning opportunities and exciting activities for children between the ages of 2-11 years old?

Additional Playworker hours may be available during school holidays.

Wellingtons Nursery are seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, who is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional and can contribute to the overall ethos of the nursery.
