October 2025

October was a month crammed with sensory experiences. Children embraced Autumn during a range of indoor and outdoor engaging activities which supported them to explore colours, textures, and smells. We went on an Autumn walk, watching the aged leaves falling from trees, listening to environmental sounds and investigating the natural world. Near the end of October there was a Halloween theme and children brought in pumpkins which they had made at home with their families for our pumpkin competition.
