Week commencing 27.02.23

This week we celebrated World Book Day. The children talked about their favourite stories, and practitioners introduced them to some new rhyming books. Our fairy tale this week was The Gingerbread Man. The children made biscuits and salt dough gingerbread men- luckily they did not mix them up! They mixed their own ingredients in the tuff tray using their senses and naming what they felt and smelt. We also practised our fine motor skills, drawing and cutting out our favourite fairy tale characters. Finally we introduced our new extra curricular activity as the children followed instructions to make their own wraps for lunch using healthy ingredients.
