Week commencing 17.04.23

This week we started our new topic growth. The children continued to plant seeds, made still life paintings and measured the plants they were growing. We started to explore spring animals, dug for worms and learned how to look after them. A big focus this week was on counting and patterns. As part of our extra-curricular activities children constructed their own burgers for lunch. In addition to this our Rainbows have now started the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme and will be learning how to recognise, pronounce and write their letters starting with M, A, S, T, D.
