Week commencing 03.07.23

Continuing the theme Pirates, this week was dedicated to Peter Pan. The children had a movie afternoon, made Peter Pan hats, and walked the plank. Our Rainbows practised their subitising skills (recognising how many items are in a small group) using dominoes, and we continue to prepare children starting Reception by providing a range of transitional activities. We have had some lovely writing this week and excellent pencil control. The children made the most of the weather whilst it was good, and particularly enjoy looking after our growing plants and investigating mini beasts outside.
