Week commencing 01.11.21

We started off our new topic celebrations this week, looking at Diwali. The children explored traditional dance, made diva lamps, and practiced henna tattoos in the tuff tray, and rangoli patterns with numicon. We learned about how to keep safe on bonfire night and then made their own chocolate apples to take home. Our new role play area is a post office, where children practiced mark making, using their fine motor skills to fold their letters into envelopes, and posting them into their letterbox.
